Secondary battery -40℃ Li-Polymer Lithium BA
Reliable battery performance that does not lose power even in extreme cold environments.
The lithium polymer battery developed by EEMB, designed to operate at -40°C, aims to provide reliable power performance even in extremely low-temperature environments. Typically, low temperatures lead to increased internal resistance and suppressed chemical reactions, resulting in reduced output. However, this model has demonstrated that it can discharge approximately 80% of its rated capacity even at -40°C, and maintain a charging efficiency of around 80% at -20°C, thanks to optimized manufacturing processes and materials. Additionally, the cell design incorporates a structure that suppresses extreme thermal expansion and contraction, as well as electrolyte freezing, ensuring long-term cycle durability and reliability (mitigating degradation due to temperature fluctuations). It is also capable of customized battery pack designs tailored to implementation constraints. This battery solution serves as the "last line of defense" in applications where power loss is unacceptable in low-temperature environments, such as cold region monitoring systems, polar exploration equipment, and refrigeration and logistics sensors.

We have published a technical column "Differentiating Between Primary and Secondary Batteries" | Quick Reference Table of Differences / How to Choose Based on Applications / 5 Selection Criteria Checklist.
We have published a technical column titled "Differentiating Between Primary and Secondary Batteries" (A4, 4 pages, with illustrations). When choosing batteries, it is common to think that "being rechargeable is better," but what really matters in practice is whether to maintain the equipment through replacement or through recharging. This document organizes the differences between the two based on the direction of the reaction and summarizes a method for selecting based on application. [Contents] - Quick reference table of differences (charging/maintenance methods/amount of electricity lost during storage, etc.) - Selection method based on reverse lookup from applications (not used for long periods/daily charging/large current needed for short durations/difficult to replace when integrated) - Three common decision points that can cause confusion on-site and three frequent mistakes - Five items to check during selection (operating environment/current output/transportation and labeling regulations, etc.) This document organizes the general trends by type. Since specific specifications vary by product, please let us know your application and usage environment, and we will assist you in consulting on part numbers that meet your conditions.
