Austrian company HAGE, which provides production equipment for dissimilar material joining technology using Friction Stir Welding (FSW), has decided to enter the Japanese market in collaboration with Iris Co., Ltd. starting this year. HAGE has a proven track record in large-scale joining equipment for aluminum tanks, particularly in the European aerospace industry. Additionally, the company has extensive experience in dissimilar material joining in the European automotive industry, including the sealing of battery cases, truck body assembly, and the provision of Friction Stir Spot Welding (FSSW) technology as an alternative to spot welding.
