When changing the material from copper to aluminum for traditional flux dip soldering, there are the following challenges with conventional flux: 1. Soldering is difficult → The oxide film on the aluminum surface is strong, making it difficult to remove with conventional flux. 2. A cleaning process is necessary → It is necessary to use highly active and highly corrosive flux, which requires a cleaning process after soldering. 3. Pre-removal of the urethane coating is necessary → A dedicated process and equipment are required to remove the urethane coating on the coil surface in advance.

Soldering with new flux dip Our aluminum dip flux can solve the above challenges. 1. Removal of oxide film with flux → It can remove the oxide film on the aluminum surface, making soldering possible. 2. No cleaning process required → The flux is designed to activate only at the high temperatures during soldering, eliminating the need for a cleaning process after soldering. 3. No need to remove the urethane coating in advance → For some aluminum coil wires, it is possible to simultaneously remove the urethane coating and the aluminum oxide film with the flux and heat. This allows us to skip the urethane coating removal process and complete soldering in one step.
