This is a solar-powered sunshine meter used by the Meteorological Agency, government offices, and universities to measure sunlight duration.
The solar cell-based sunshine meter uses a silicon photodiode as the light receiving element. This device is a transmitter that outputs direct solar radiation of 0.12 kW·m⁻² as 20 mV (DC) based on the regulations of the WMO (World Meteorological Organization).
