Blow Molding Simulation Program B-SIM

Wide-ranging support from direct blow to injection and stretch blow. Time-dependent deformation is also reproduced with high precision using the K-BKZ model.

The parison and preform shapes can be imported from Ansys and STL files in addition to dimension input using the B-SIM template. Various settings such as clamp position, temperature of the parison and preform, thickness distribution, friction and heat transfer with the mold, timing of the blow, and direction of mold movement allow for accurate reproduction of the blow molding process.

【Features】 ○ Import mold shapes from STL, DXF, Patran, and VRML files. ○ Material slip due to differences in mold materials is reproduced based on the friction coefficient. ○ The material model employs integral-type viscoelastic models K-BKZ and Leonov. ○ Accurately simulates time dependence and large deformations, with high precision in reproducing sagging of sheets and parisons. ○ Physical property data for major materials is already registered, allowing for immediate analysis. ○ Three different damping functions to accommodate strain hardening. ○ Adopts the WLF temperature dependence model. ○ Achieves short computation times through a multi-threaded solver and batch analysis system compatible with 64-bit parallel processors. ○ Displays post-molding thickness, temperature, stress, and elongation rate in detailed graphs using 3D color scales and arbitrary cut lines. ○ Predicts molding defects and their risks through contact conditions between the mold and sheet, highlighting large deformations of the sheet, and weight calculation functions for arbitrary parts. ○ Analysis results can be exported to ANSYS, IGES, DXF, Cosmos/M, Patran, and LS-Dyna files for structural analysis. ● For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.
