Metal surface treatment "Ozone Passivation"
This is an introduction to metal surface treatment technology using high-concentration ozone!
"Ozone Passivation" is an original surface treatment technology developed by Iwatani Corporation that utilizes high-concentration ozone. This groundbreaking technology allows for surface treatment to be completed simply by exposing stainless steel to high-concentration ozone (over 50%) at room temperature. Since the treatment is done with ozone gas at room temperature, there is no need to heat the treated items, preventing damage to them and being effective even on welded pipe joints. It enables the formation of a dense passive film on the surfaces of stainless steel and aluminum, contributing to the reduction of metal contamination and improving the maintenance frequency of parts.
