We would like to introduce a case where we provided design for assembly jigs and proposals for improving part accuracy, and received high praise for the quality of the prototypes.
We will introduce a case where we conducted a study on the prototyping and mass production of a modular weight roller and resolved the issues. Due to its different shape compared to conventional designs and the assembly nature of the parts, there was limited knowledge from customers. Even at the prototyping stage, there were challenges such as warping during assembly and unstable dimensional accuracy due to variations in pressure input. Since an outer dimension tolerance of ±0.05mm was required during assembly, we proposed the creation of dedicated assembly jigs for each type of prototype and aimed to improve part accuracy.
