Ideal for inspecting flat panels and solar panels, we have launched a 4/3 type 8-megapixel CCD camera series.
JAi Corporation has announced a high-resolution camera series that adopts a 4/3-type 8-megapixel progressive scan CCD (Kodak KAI-08050). The AM-800CL (monochrome) and AB-800CL (color) models feature a pixel count of 3296 (H) x 2472 (V), a pixel clock of 80 MHz, and can read all pixels at 17 frames per second, achieving both high resolution and high frame rate simultaneously. The video signal output can provide monochrome 8/10/12-bit and color 8/10/12-bit raw data Bayer output, as well as 8-bit RGB output via Camera Link. There are two types of lens mounts available: Nikon F mount and C mount.
Additionally, to suppress white spots and image degradation caused by heat, the design incorporates high thermal conductivity housing and heat sinks. This camera series demonstrates its capabilities in various applications, such as inspecting and measuring large subjects like flat panels and solar panels, as well as inspecting substrates and components, leveraging its high resolution.
