A measurement platform for measuring the air resistance (drag) of competitive wheelchairs can built, complete with adjustable fixtures that can be tailored to the wheelchair's wheelbase and wheel size. Measurements can also be taken while a person is seated or while pedaling. In addition, motorized rollers to provide wheel rotation and resistance for wheels are available as needed.
