Initially developed to make wind tunnel experiments more accessible to cycling enthusiasts, everything from installation to operation to measurement is made simple. The Aero Optim series is a stand-alone wind tunnel unit that consolidates all functions of a wind tunnel (fan, diffusor and rectification) into a 0.7m by 0.7m unit. These units can be combined to form the airflow required for a given test section. A standard wind tunnel is often cost-prohibitive to someone looking into purchasing one for the first time, owing to its large consumption of building space and power, as well as high maintenance fees. The Aero Optim wind tunnel provides a low-cost, space-efficient alternative to those wishing for just enough flow quality to make simply, repeatable tests.
