From August 18 to 20, at the "ZMP World 2020 (Online Event)" hosted by ZMP Corporation, Shingo Fukuda, the head of the Fifth Sales Department of our company JALOC, took the stage for a joint promotion of the unmanned towing vehicle "CarriRo Tractor 2.5T," which is capable of indoor and outdoor transportation. The logistics support robot CarriRo is a product developed by applying ZMP's autonomous driving technology, exemplified by the service demonstration of self-driving taxis that ZMP is working on. On August 19, 2020, our company held its first online product presentation. We introduced the latest autonomous mobile robot (AMR) 'Syrius'. Recently, the logistics industry has focused on "automation" and "labor-saving," and our product, Syrius, embodies these characteristics. The movement to picking areas and packing/shipping areas is autonomously handled by the programmed Syrius, allowing operators to simply pick from designated points. This significantly reduces the "travel time" and "time spent searching for products" for the operators. The NICO Carry Runner is a commercial cart that uses crawlers (belt-like tracks) instead of casters (wheels) typically found on standard carts. Its unique patented belt drive mechanism absorbs shocks by receiving vibrations on its flat surface, making it effective on uneven roads and for steps of about 50 millimeters.
