Viscometer for high-temperature processes
Inline high-temperature process viscosity control device. Maximum temperature 375°C, viscosity range 0.2-20,000 cP.
To control viscosity in high-temperature processes, a viscosity control setting program can be created up to 40. The built-in software focuses on "no operation required after setting" and includes: - RS232 interface - Selection of analog output along with alarm signals - Automatic data logging function, which is effective for process control The sensor automatically replaces the fluid and also has a self-cleaning function. **For more details, please download the catalog.**
basic information
The sensor is a falling body type, which uses the magnetic force of two built-in coils to move a small piston back and forth, converting that time into viscosity. Additionally, a built-in temperature sensor (temperature resistance element) measures temperature and converts it into temperature-compensated viscosity. The total measurement range is 0.2-20,000 cP, divided into 13 ranges, from which you can select the sensor. For viscosity control, it can be configured with 40 different setting programs, making it unnecessary to operate during use.

A small amount of viscosity measurement is the key to accurate viscosity analysis.
Accurate viscosity measurement with a small sample size is beneficial in all applications. In various fluids, the correlation between laboratory-level measurements of production products and inline process measurements is important. Cambridge's viscometers are compact and robust, making them suitable for processes that must be installed in limited spaces, and they can perform measurements unaffected by changing temperatures, pressures, or surrounding vibrations.

Real-time viscosity measurement of a diesel engine common rail test stand.
A viscosity meter manufactured by Cambridge has been adopted for measuring the viscosity of diesel fuel in the common rail test stand. This involves real-time measurements using the viscosity meter implemented in the test stand, rather than sampling tests conducted in a lab. Measuring fuel viscosity is effective for the development of high-precision fuel injection systems in response to increasingly stringent emissions regulations, and it monitors the temporal changes in fuel characteristics.

Promotion of the effectiveness of viscosity measurement for very small sample liquids.
A U.S. biotech company has adopted the Cambridge VISCOlab 5000 for viscosity measurement of micro-samples for the development of an injectable drug for brain aneurysms. This viscosity measurement device requires only a sample volume of 0.075cc, achieving accurate and reliable measurements while significantly reducing costs. Viscosity measurement is performed automatically by simply placing the sample liquid into the measurement chamber, and the liquid temperature is also automatically controlled, leading to highly effective results.

Fuel oil viscosity control
The Cambridge VISCOpro 2000 viscosity control device accurately performs viscosity control of fuel oil. By precisely controlling viscosity and maintaining perfect combustion, it not only reduces fuel consumption but also lowers maintenance for various combustion systems and equipment, as well as the burden on emission treatment devices, enabling overall cost reduction. The VISCOpro 2000 features a robust structure, with sensors made of 316 stainless steel, and is composed of sophisticated and easily operable electronic components. The sensors are installed in the fuel system, and the controller outputs alarms, viscosity, temperature, and temperature-corrected viscosity, directly controlling temperature adjustment equipment to maintain the set viscosity.

Since its establishment in 1966, we have supplied numerous products to domestic customers in the petrochemical, tire, automotive, machine tool, medical device, pump, analytical equipment, testing machine sectors, as well as aerospace-related clients in both the public and private sectors. Many of the products we handle are made in the United States, but we aim to provide products with superior performance and features compared to domestic manufacturers, and in recent years, we have also been working to offer excellent European products. Although we are an import trading company, we fundamentally practice domestic operations for the inspection and repair of products from various manufacturers, along with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certification. !!
