Heine Corporation manufactures several types of radial force (flange type) load cells. All products have no mounting directionality for the web axis, allowing for proper installation in any measurement direction around the circumference, ensuring effective measurement. The sensors are of the double beam type, offering a good overall error of 0.5% along with robustness.

There are two main types, BZA and BZN. The BZA series is a lightweight flange-type load cell with an aluminum body. The shaft diameter ranges from 15 to 60 mm, with a rated load of 100 N to 5,000 N and an overload capacity of 700% to 1,000%. The BZN series has a stainless steel body, offering excellent corrosion resistance and weather resistance (IP67), making it suitable for harsh environments. The shaft diameter ranges from 15 to 40 mm, with a rated load of 100 N to 4,000 N and an overload capacity of 1,000%.

Applications/Examples of results
There are many examples of using web tension measurement for materials such as paper, plastic, and thin steel plates. Unlike conventional pillow block types that have restrictions on mounting direction, it is possible to align measurement points in the specified measurement direction around the entire circumference of the shaft, thereby enhancing effectiveness.
