Viscometer VP2100 Series
The VP2100 is a highly reliable viscometer that is effective for process optimization. It also allows for density measurement.
!! Density measurement is also possible !! The VP2100 series viscometer, a new product from Cambridge Viscosity, has been developed specifically for process control. The sensor, which incorporates a long-established reciprocating piston method, performs real-time measurements using a small amount of sample liquid. The installation of the sensor is easy, and it offers excellent maintainability, providing a stable signal even over long calibration intervals. The sensor is unaffected by external environmental factors, vibrations, or changes in flow rate. Additionally, it is highly durable and the system remains unaffected even with heavy sample liquids outside the measurement range. <Advantages> - Low cost - Easy integration - Minimal maintenance - Quick return on investment !! basic information
The VP2100 performs viscosity measurement using a reciprocating piston method. There are 11 ranges in the measurement range of 0.25-10,000 cP. The reproducibility has two types: ±1.5% of the reading and ±0.5% of the reading, and it supports a maximum process temperature of 190°C (optional up to 375°C) and a maximum process pressure of 6.9 MPa (optional up to 15.1 MPa), also outputting fluid temperature along with the viscosity value.

Small Viscosity Sensor 501 Sensor
SPC501 is widely used for oil analysis applications such as compressors, engines, and hydraulic systems. It is ideal for installation locations where shape and small sample volume are important. The measurement technology is based on a simple and reliable electromagnetic concept. Two coils magnetically move the piston back and forth with a constant force. The built-in analysis circuit analyzes the piston’s movement time to measure absolute viscosity. The built-in resistance temperature detector (RTD) detects the actual temperature within the liquid chamber. The constant movement of the piston ensures that the liquid in the chamber is continuously replaced, mechanically cleaning it to achieve viscosity tracking.

Viscometer for managing lens coating in medical devices
Challenges faced by medical device and optical lens manufacturers. Is it not the management of coatings? ★ The global eyewear industry, including protective safety glasses, launched in 2020 at a staggering price of $150 billion, and the COVID-19 pandemic significantly accelerated demand. Hospitals and medical facilities are ordering safer glasses and face shields. ★ In addition to face masks needed worldwide, or as a substitute, face shields are being worn in schools and retail. ★ Recently, Cambridge Viscosity published a case study regarding Honeywell's Industrial Safety Group in Smithfield, Rhode Island. ★ This group has significantly improved its manufacturing capacity for safety goggles in response to the demand for PPE (personal protective equipment) from laboratories and hospitals. ★ The demand for eyewear is further increasing, supported by the suggestion that glasses help prevent people from touching their faces, and corrective lenses or sunglasses may further enhance protection from airborne droplets.
