Introduction to JFE Plant Engineering's "On-site Machining"
Repairing manufacturing equipment with short lead times and high precision. We reduce the costs of equipment updates and achieve further functional improvements.
"On-site machining" solves these problems! - Buried in the foundation and cannot be moved. - Complex structure, no time for construction, and cannot be disassembled. - Heavy and large in size, making transportation difficult. On-site machining is possible even for equipment that cannot be disassembled or moved, as work is carried out within the customer's factory. Additionally, even for equipment that can be moved, on-site maintenance eliminates the risk of accidents during transportation. ≪Features of on-site machining≫ 1. Eliminates the hassle of disassembling equipment. 2. Reduces repair time, minimizing losses due to line stoppages. 3. Due to the machining method, restoration can be achieved with precision close to that of new equipment. *For more details, please refer to the materials available for download in the "PDF Download" section. Applications/Examples of results
On-site machining already has a diverse range of applications and a track record of projects both nationwide and globally. Currently, through the collaboration of on-site machining and 3D measurement technology, we can achieve: (1) Wide-ranging, complex shape, and arbitrary/multiple point measurements. (2) A variety of measurements with minimal preparation. (3) Proposals for appropriate repair methods, including on-site machining or factory processing, based on measurement data. (4) Confirmation of measurement results on-site, enabling timely repair decisions. Our specialized technical staff, with extensive experience, will respond quickly to inquiries about a wide variety of equipment. We would like to introduce our 'Ogidshima Maintenance Center' located in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. This facility is equipped with the necessary machinery for on-site machining maintenance, including machine tools, presses, balancers, hydraulic testing machines, electric motor maintenance equipment, and special welding equipment, with nearly 1,000 technicians and maintenance personnel on site. We hope you will effectively utilize these valuable resources in the future. An overview of the facility is presented in our catalog. From July 24th, we will provide detailed explanations at the Plant Maintenance Show at Tokyo Big Sight, so we invite everyone to visit us.
