The "polynomial Pitot tube" or "Barflow tube" is not a throttling structure like an orifice or venturi, allowing for very low permanent pressure loss. It is equipped with multiple total pressure measurement ports and static pressure measurement ports, enabling the measurement of the average flow velocity in the piping and detecting stable flow rates.
