[Case Study of Problem-Solving Proposal] Drink Can Casing and Picking

Compared to manual work, work efficiency has improved! Equipped with a hand tool that can pick up 6 cans at a time.

We would like to introduce a case study on solving the issue of "casing and picking drink cans" conducted at a logistics warehouse. Before the proposal, a predetermined number of drink cans were manually taken one by one from the shelves and placed into containers, which were then sent down the conveyor once completed. After the proposal, when the device receives the quantity data for the drink cans, three robots retrieve them from the shelves and place them into the containers on the conveyor, with completed containers being sent directly to the next process via the conveyor. [Case Overview] ■ Issue - To ship varying quantities daily and to different destinations, part-time workers were hired for picking, but there were often days when sufficient personnel could not be secured. ■ Proposal - By moving the robots along with their bases, all varieties from one shelf can be picked by a single robot. By installing three sets of this system, the entire process for three shelves is automated. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
