【VMCX Steel】 Our developed material VMCX (NiCrMoV steel) ensures uniform hardness even in the center of large materials due to its high hardenability, making it suitable for extremely thick products over 1,000mm, such as molds for giga casting (main molds). Additionally, its excellent strength and toughness allow for thinner and smaller molds, while also promising a longer lifespan. As a pre-hardened steel that does not require tempering heat treatment after machining, it is expected to reduce mold manufacturing costs. 【Improved P20 Steel】 Improved P20 steel has better internal homogeneity and machinability than P20 steel due to unique compositional enhancements, and it has a long history of being manufactured and supplied as a material for plastic molding molds since the 1980s. There is very little hardness reduction in the center of extremely thick products, and it can be produced up to a maximum weight of 23 tons and a thickness of 1,000mm.
