Solar power generation has been introduced at Chiba Plant No. 3 (New Molding Building), and self-generated power has begun.

On June 2, 2023, at Ote Corporation's Chiba No. 3 Factory (New Molding Building), we installed 320 units of WEST60M-375CH solar modules from West Holdings Corporation and one unit each of HUAWEI's SUN2000-50KTL-JPM0 and SUN2000-33KTL-NH power conditioners, resulting in a total solar power output of 83.3 kW. The solar power generation facility began operation in June 2023. The installed solar power generation facility will be used to consume the electricity generated on-site. This aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and alleviate the load on the power grid, while also utilizing the environmental value obtained from the facility at our headquarters in Tokyo. The estimated annual power generation is 124,850 kWh, which accounts for 10.6% of the facility's estimated annual power consumption, leading to a reduction in electricity costs.
