[Development Case] Camera Case
A case where the camera and cable storage was done without any extra gaps, resulting in great satisfaction.
We would like to introduce a case study of the development of a "camera case" at a major corporation. We received a request from the customer to install a case (housing) for an existing camera and to propose a manufacturing solution that emphasizes shock resistance, including material selection. In response, we proposed a case that can store not only the camera but also cables and other accessories. Additionally, we suggested a tubular material made of resin that accommodates the camera and conducted prototype testing. Strength verification was carried out meticulously. [Case Overview] ■ Request Details - Since it is a spot production with a limited number of units, we would like a proposal for a cost-effective manufacturing method. ■ Solution - For spot production, we proposed machining instead of mold making. - We proposed a structure using transparent material that allows the camera's condition to be checked from the appearance of the case. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
