[Development Case] Circuit Board Holder
A case in which the customer was very satisfied with a product that had minimal warping and no issues with dimensions.
We would like to introduce a case study of the development of a "circuit board holder" at a major corporation. We received a request from a customer to manufacture a component that guides and holds circuit board units, as well as to improve noise generated from the electrical properties of a metal frame. In response, we considered the resinification of the metal frame and proposed three structural design patterns: "integrated type," "PP hinge type," and "split type." We communicated the advantages and disadvantages of each option to present choices to the customer. [Case Overview] ■ Request Details - Desire to reduce costs ■ Solution - Proposed a resin with electrical properties and strength, which reduced the price to about 1/5 of the original cost. - Before mold construction, we also provided prototypes using a 3D printer and displayed flow analysis results. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
