Yoshiaki Nishite, a lecturer in the Department of Medical Engineering at Kinki University (Kinokawa City, Wakayama Prefecture), along with Tanac Co., Ltd. (Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture) and Asahi Rubber Co., Ltd. (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture), has jointly developed a training pad for injection (puncture) training. By using a new material that combines realism and durability compared to conventional products, it becomes possible to increase the number of training sessions, contributing to the improvement of puncture skills among medical technicians.
