Fly-eye lens
This is a lens applied to improve and enhance the optical properties of lighting systems.
Especially recently, due to advancements in microfabrication shifting towards shorter wavelengths, our company has also been producing fly-eye lenses using synthetic quartz lenses. Additionally, they are used on the projection light side of LCD substrates in LCD projectors.

An imaging element arranged in a vertical and horizontal array using the same single lens is called a lens array (fly's eye). In a lens array, multiple images are produced from the numerous lenses that make up the array, and if the light source is a point, many point images are created. As an application, it is used to improve the optical characteristics of lighting systems.
