SARS-CoV-2 Response Test REPORT / COVID-19 Infection and Others
Copper Power Antibacterial Copper Film Dr.CU_Regarding Antibacterial, we have received a test report from the ImPaKT Facility at Western University in Ontario, confirming a 99.99% inactivation effect against the COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2). Additionally, a report from the Institute of Biology at the State University of Campinas in Brazil, an international research institution, showed similar results for the coronavirus MHV, and a test report from the University of Toulouse in France (targeting coronavirus type 229E) also yielded similar findings. Domestic testing institutions have conducted antibacterial tests (against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus), and we are currently working on obtaining the SIAA mark (aimed at promoting safe and reliable antibacterial and antifungal processed products). For product details, please refer to the catalog publication information. *This product is not intended for the treatment or prevention of diseases. *It is not intended for medical purposes such as medical products or devices. *The test results from international research institutions may vary depending on actual usage conditions.

AD-sorb elastomer / Developing glass breakage and shattering prevention sheet
We are currently developing a protective sheet for reinforced glass display materials that utilizes the shock-absorbing properties of AD-sorb elastomers. Since 2015, various verification activities have been conducted on the implementation of a display board "andon" in a highway tunnel, which has resulted in no damage such as cracking or shattering of the display board after implementation. As a result, the number of tunnels planned for additional implementation has increased, and we expect to complete the development of specifications that can be implemented in outdoor materials requiring higher levels of weather resistance soon. Implementation tests for soundproof glass and other materials are also scheduled to begin. Additionally, we are actively advancing the development of sheet materials that combine AD-sorb elastomers with heat-insulating and light-blocking agents, featuring various characteristics such as heat insulation, light blocking, soundproofing, vibration control, and crack prevention. We will begin implementing these materials in building window glass and other applications starting in 2018.

Awarded the Nagoya City Industrial Technology Grand Prix in the 25th year of the Heisei era as the Director of the Nagoya City Industrial Research Institute.
We are Karayan, specializing in adhesives and various coatings. Recently, we received the Nagoya City Industrial Research Institute Director's Award at the Nagoya City Industrial Technology Grand Prix, hosted by the Nagoya Industrial Promotion Corporation for the fiscal year 2013. In Nagoya City, we hold the Nagoya City Industrial Technology Grand Prix annually to promote the technological advancement and management revitalization of local small and medium-sized enterprises by recognizing development cases of new technologies and products, thereby supporting the strengthening of corporate capabilities. Our company entered the AD-sorb, a vibration-damping and shock-absorbing elastomer film and sheet currently under development, in the fiscal year 2013 Technology Grand Prix, and we were honored to receive the Nagoya City Industrial Research Institute Director's Award. Last week, on February 14th (Friday) afternoon, stakeholders attended the award ceremony and presentation event. Encouraged by this award, we will continue to actively pursue sales development.
