Tests comparing this product with general-purpose PE that has not undergone antibacterial treatment confirmed that the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli is suppressed. It meets the JIS standard for both weather resistance and water resistance with an antibacterial activity value of ≧2.
