Pressure sensors monitor liquid propulsion rockets!

KELLER Pressure Japan

KELLER Pressure Japan 日本支社

The "TU Vienna Space Team," operated by students of the Vienna University of Technology, is working on the rocket project "Lamarr," which focuses on launching a liquid rocket using ethanol and liquid oxygen as propellants. The "Lamarr" rocket is equipped with pressure sensors from KELLER Pressure, specifically the PAA-23SY, PAA-21Y, and PD-39X series. These high-precision pressure sensors play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progress of the mission. The pressure sensors measure the pressure in the pressurized tanks, fuel tanks, and combustion chamber of the rocket engine. The project team uses the measurement data supplied by the sensors to monitor and control various elements essential for stable flight. Pressure measurement technology in the aerospace field complies with the highest safety standards and has high demands for functionality. Therefore, in this field, highly specialized pressure measurement systems tailored to each customer are produced. For the "Lamarr" project, the KELLER Pressure standard specification piezoresistive pressure transmitters were selected. For more details, please follow the link below!
