To record parameters of water bodies, it is necessary to identify not only the most common measurement items such as water level and water temperature but also other measurement variables. One example is conductivity. Conductivity is a suitable indicator of water purity and is an important parameter in drinking water supply. KELLER Pressure's CTD level gauge can be used to measure and monitor the quality and quantity of drinking water. Since these parameters are interdependent, three sensors are integrated into one device to provide compensated high-precision measurements. **Conductivity** Media and substances like water can transmit heat, sound, and electricity. The more dissolved ions (such as chlorides, sulfates, and carbonates) present in a substance, the higher the electrical conductivity. Seawater and saltwater have a high content of dissolved ions, resulting in conductivity that is many times higher compared to regular drinking water or freshwater. On the other hand, purified distilled water has almost zero dissolved ions, which hinders the conduction of electricity in water. KELLER Pressure uses six titanium electrodes to measure conductivity.
