"FACESS" is a sliding coupler system for the long-length cut wing reinforcement tool "Me-fix." When a certain amount of load is applied, a mechanism is provided that allows the load to be released and slide in the axial direction. The dedicated coupler releases and slides under a load of 200kN to 300kN, and can then maintain a tensile strength of about 400kN. The sliding at that time allows for forward extrusion displacement, and effects such as damping and ground deformation tracking can be expected.
