Float Switch KS Series "KS2 (PP Float)"
This is the solution for welding cracks in floats!
We would like to propose a solution regarding the welding crack troubles of the metal float in the float switch you are using. The main cause of welding cracks reported to us is that they are mostly due to ultrasonic micro-vibrations. When there is ultrasonic cleaning or devices emitting ultrasound nearby, these micro-vibrations can easily lead to welding cracks in the metal parts. As a countermeasure, we recommend replacing the float with one made of PP (polypropylene). Resin floats absorb micro-vibrations, preventing cracks from occurring. Furthermore, our PP floats have a pressure resistance of 2 MPa, which is equivalent to that of metal floats, despite being made of resin. *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
