Kingsbury's "LEG Direct Lubrication" oil film bearings are a high-efficiency type that directly supplies lubricating oil to the pad surface. Not only does it achieve significant reductions in oil supply volume and loss horsepower (mechanical loss) compared to conventional oil sump types, but it also realizes lower pad surface temperatures and increased load capacity compared to other direct lubrication methods.
