LUMATEC's liquid light guide consists of a liquid core and a polymer tube. While light guides made of bundled optical glass fibers (bundle fibers) may break when bent, liquid light guides do not have this issue. Additionally, due to their large acceptance angle, they are suitable for applications requiring uniform and high-output light transmission.
