Power supply for LD equipped with a pulse generator capable of generating special waveforms.
The laser diode driver generates arbitrary pulse shapes with pulse durations in the nanosecond range. This device is a multifunctional unit that integrates an AWG (Arbitrary Waveform Generator), a TEC controller, and multiple pulse delay generators for signal synchronization.

- As it is a power source, it is possible to directly modulate the nanosecond laser with any pulse shape. - Output current of 0 to 1.6A (16bit/48dB/30μA resolution). - Socket compatible with 14-pin Type 1 butterfly laser diodes (Type 2 available upon request). - Users can set pulse shapes with a repetition rate of 0 to 20MHz in the range of 500ps to 8μs. - Built-in TEC (thermoelectric) controller to prevent overheating of the semiconductor laser and stabilize it. - Special mode for suppressing "gain switch peak" of the laser diode. - Built-in AWG (arbitrary waveform generator) with internal or remote triggering. - Equipped with three pulse delay generators. - Intuitive PC GUI software available, connected via USB interface. - Operates in two modes: direct modulation and external modulation.
