Liquid Light Guide [Transmission Characteristics from UV to Near Infrared]
It is a light guide with higher transmittance than bundle fibers, flexible, and free from disconnections.
LUMATEC's liquid light guides have low losses relative to the incident surface area and efficiently transmit light. We offer multiple series categorized by transmission wavelength range and application. 【Features】 - Higher transmission rate compared to bundle fibers - Flexible and unbreakable - Large acceptance angle - A rich product lineup in the transmission wavelength range of 250 to 2000 nm - Can be connected to excitation light sources (discharge lamps, LEDs) used in fluorescence analysis and other applications.
basic information
LUMATEC's liquid light guide consists of a liquid core and a polymer tube. Light guides made of bundled optical glass fibers (bundle fibers) may break when bent, but liquid light guides do not break. Additionally, they have a large acceptance angle, making them suitable for applications requiring uniformity and high-output light transmission.
