FBG [Temperature and Strain Sensor]
Multi-point measurement capable FBG sensor
This product consists of an interrogator that performs light emission and reception for sensing, and an FBG fiber that has been processed with a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG). ■ Interrogator A compact and lightweight interrogator equipped with the components necessary for the analysis of Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG). ■ FBG Sensor Chain The FBG sensor chain is an optical fiber cable processed with Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG), allowing for flexible customization. The cable length can be up to 500m, and measurement points can be freely set, with a minimum interval of 1mm. It can also be used in combination with your currently used interrogator.
basic information
Due to the ability to detect minute structural changes in the processed area caused by external forces and temperature as wavelength shifts, it is possible to measure the temperature and strain at multiple points with a single sensor. 【Features】 - 20 sensors arranged on a single fiber (customizable to freely arrange up to 30 sensors) - Compact and lightweight interrogator (X100: 60g) - Uses light, so it is not affected by electromagnetic radiation - Capable of high-speed sensing - Customizable length of FBG sensor chain and measurement points - High wavelength accuracy (< 0.15nm) - Highly durable
