Optical Fiber Dynamic Pressure Sensor Alpheus100
Can be used in harsh environments such as high temperatures and high frequencies. Dynamic pressure wave measurement of turbochargers.
The Alpheus100 from Phonoptics is a dynamic pressure sensor that can be used in harsh environments such as high temperatures and high frequencies. ■ Compact: Sensor dimensions: Diameter Φ3.2mm, Φ2.5mm (※Φ1.25mm in development) ■ Lightweight: 0.5g (sensor head) Due to its fiber design and small diameter, it can also be used for pressure measurement inside pipes. ■ Excellent explosion-proof properties The sensing part uses only glass and fiber, providing excellent explosion-proof characteristics. ■ Accurate measurement in harsh environments. - RF/EMI-free, no electromagnetic interference - Calibrated for better response speed and sensitivity than piezo sensors, allowing for more accurate measurements. ■ Frequency range: 40kHz, 100kHz (other specifications available upon request) ■ Operating temperature: up to 600℃ (※ up to 1000℃ in development) ■ Capable of detecting vibrations in liquids.
