Proposal for Reducing Running Costs of Cooling Towers with UV Systems
Prevent bacterial growth with ultraviolet sterilization and reduce the use of chemicals! Lower the running costs of cooling towers by introducing a UV system.
At Shouka Kogyo, we propose reducing the running costs of cooling towers by introducing a UV system. By implementing the UV system, we aim to purify the circulating water in the cooling towers and reduce the use of chemicals by preventing bacterial growth through ultraviolet sterilization. Additionally, due to the hardness components (such as calcium) in the makeup water (municipal water or industrial water), scale can precipitate. By installing ion exchange resin in the makeup water line, we can remove these hardness components and prevent scale formation. 【Proposed System】 ■ No use of chemicals (scale inhibitors, slime suppressants, etc.) ■ Removal of turbidity from approximately 10% of the circulating water using sand filters ■ Complete sterilization using the UV (ultraviolet) system ■ Removal of hardness components (scale suppression) using ion exchange resin ■ Overall integrated control of the above systems *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
