Ultrasonic Leak Testing Device for Ships 'Sherlog Mate'
Usable in various environments! It is possible to check for equipment abnormalities, wear conditions, and airtightness.
The "Sherlog Mate" is an ultrasonic leak testing device developed by the Belgian company SDT. By detecting naturally occurring ultrasonic waves and artificially generated ultrasonic waves, it is possible to examine equipment abnormalities, wear conditions, and airtightness. A transmitter is installed in the hold, which sends ultrasonic waves, and the ultrasonic waves leaking from the leakage points (areas with poor airtightness) are received by a receiver. The volume level is displayed numerically and converted into an adjustable sound to indicate the loudness. 【Features】 ■ Inspections can be performed by 1 to 2 personnel in a short time ■ Inspections can be conducted without unloading cargo in the hold ■ Inspections can be carried out while docked or underway ■ Leakage points can be identified using the receiving sensor *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
