Hot-pressed steel materials

It can be utilized in the design of members with the same cross-sectional shape that continues in the longitudinal direction. In situations where components made of stainless steel such as SUS304 are required to have corrosion resistance for food and medical devices or semiconductor manufacturing equipment, or when structural components of industrial vehicles and construction machinery using high-strength steel need to be made with a unified cross-section, this can be considered. Standard H-shaped steel may not match in flange width or thickness, and in processes where steel plates are welded to create irregular H-shaped steel, a transition to hot-pressed steel that incorporates the necessary functions into the cross-section is being considered. This approach reduces the number of welds and parts, leading to a review of assembly and distortion correction processes. Even for special shapes that do not accumulate in quantity during roll forming, it is a material that can be consulted from small lots of a few tons, making it easy to accommodate new designs, startup after prototypes, repair parts, one-time orders, and model changes. Using a diameter of the circumscribed circle of φ215mm as a guideline, the type of steel, cross-sectional shape, length, quantity, and details of additional processing are confirmed in drawings to assess manufacturability and delivery form.
