We would like to introduce a case study of the automotive parts manufacturer utilizing the drive recorder 'RekamoMA' equipped with a high-speed camera in their production site. This is a case where we analyzed the causes of brief stops (choko-tei) on the parts assembly and transport line. There are high-speed digital cameras sold as general household appliances. We have received numerous inquiries about capturing brief stops with such cameras, but they often do not yield satisfactory results. Even if the frame rate (number of frames per second) is high, if the light is insufficient or the shutter speed is not appropriate, the images can become blurry or too dark. We resolved such issues in the following case.
