A new robot system has been introduced to the inspection sub-process of tablet molds in a pharmaceutical factory! A system has been realized that performs transportation and palletizing with a single robot!
Using a new 3kg portable wing slicer type (scara type) robot manufactured by Nitto Seiko, we have established a robotic system for visual inspection of tablet molds (punches) in a pharmaceutical factory, as well as for transportation and palletizing between each process in the packaging stage. Previously, these tasks were performed manually by workers, which placed a heavy burden on them.
