In a perforating machine that creates fine holes in film, the film may shift or tear during processing with the needle roll. This is particularly true for thin or soft films, where the pressure from the needles can be applied locally, making stable hole processing difficult. At Kyoshin Giken, we respond to the need for high-density roll brushes as receiving side components opposing the needle roll of the perforating machine. The bristles of the roll brush gently support the film while distributing the pressure from the needles, helping to prevent shifting and tearing of the film, thus contributing to stable hole processing. Additionally, the material of the bristles and brush density can be adjusted according to processing conditions, and for applications requiring heat resistance, we can also accommodate heat-resistant bristle materials such as PFA (Teflon-based fluoropolymer) and PPS.

It is used as a brush on the receiving side of the needle roll in film perforating machines. When making fine holes in the film with the needle roll, the high-density roll brush supports the film on a surface, dispersing the pressure of the needles and suppressing shifts and tears during processing. It is suitable for perforating materials that are prone to deformation during processing, such as thin or soft films. Additionally, depending on the temperature of the needles and processing conditions, it is also possible to select heat-resistant materials such as PFA (Teflon-based fluororesin) or PPS. We accommodate custom production by adjusting the brush materials and density according to the type of film, thickness, hole diameter, line speed, and temperature conditions of the needle roll.
