Hardox HiAce is a true wear fighter, especially in mildly acidic corrosive environments that can be detrimental to equipment. This corrosion-resistant steel plate protects equipment from general corrosion and pitting, and is expected to improve equipment condition and extend its lifespan. It helps address the challenges of corrosive wear environments found in urban and industrial waste management, waste-to-energy plants, mining, and process industries.

≪Features of Corrosion-Resistant and Wear-Resistant Steel Plate Hardox HiAce≫ Excellent resistance to corrosion and wear in mildly acidic environments: The service life of equipment in mildly acidic or low pH environments is up to three times longer than that of 400HBW steel and up to 2.7 times longer than that of 450HBW steel. Outstanding mechanical properties: Nominal hardness: 425–475HB; Yield strength: 1250MPa; Impact toughness: CVL 27J (-20°C). Excellent weldability: Thin plates under 8mm do not require preheating before welding. Excellent bendability: Minimum bending radius: R/t=3 (t < 8; perpendicular to the rolling direction). Excellent machinability: Cutting, bending, welding, and machining are possible, nearly the same as Hardox 450. Excellent cold resistance: Exhibits excellent toughness even at sub-zero temperatures. Variety of grades: There are several grades available, allowing for selection based on application. Thickness: t4mm to t25.4mm; Width: 2000mm to 2500mm; Length: 6000mm.
