Hardox HiTemp is a heat-resistant and wear-resistant steel plate that combines the high-temperature properties of Toolox with the excellent processing characteristics of Hardox.
The newly introduced Hardox HiTemp steel plate in the Hardox wear-resistant steel plate series demonstrates wear resistance in high-temperature areas that could not be addressed by conventional Hardox wear-resistant steel grades.

Features of heat-resistant and wear-resistant steel plate Hardox HiTemp Excellent high-temperature resistance: Maintains excellent hardness at high temperatures up to 500°C and exhibits high shape stability. Excellent mechanical properties: Nominal hardness: 375–425 HB; Yield strength: 1100 MPa; Impact toughness: CVL 60 J (-40°C). Excellent weldability: Preheating before welding is required, but due to the low carbon equivalent, it is suitable even for applications requiring extensive welding. Excellent bendability: Minimum bending radius: R/t = 3 (t < 8; perpendicular to the rolling direction). Excellent machinability: Thermal cutting such as gas and laser is possible, cold cutting such as shearing is also possible, and bending, welding, and machining are feasible. Excellent resistance to buckling and hydrogen cracking: Exhibits excellent resistance to temperature distortion that can cause buckling or cracking. Variety of grades: There are several grades available, allowing selection according to application. Thickness: 5 mm to 51 mm; Width: 2000 mm to 2500 mm; Length: 6000 mm.
