Precision disperser, stirrer, emulsifier - Creamix
Contributing to the forefront of science and industry! Precision dispersion, emulsification, stirring, mixing, and dissolution can all be achieved with one machine!
The precision dispersing machine, stirring machine, and emulsifying machine "CreaMix" consists of a high-speed rotating rotor and a screen arranged with a small clearance (usually 0.2 to 0.5 mm). The processing material, energized by the high-speed rotating rotor, increases its velocity as it passes through the screen slit, forming a pulsed jet flow within the processing material in the tank, generating shear forces between the materials at the velocity interface. The high-speed rotating rotor determines the discharge flow lines based on its lead angle, which contributes to the axial flow component and the centrifugal force component, while the width and number of the screen slits determine the absolute velocity of the jet flow and the frequency of the pulses. This allows for control over the desired particle size and particle size distribution width. The clearance between the rotor and the screen is extremely small, not intended to provide shear force in the gap, but rather to convert the rotor's discharge flow into a jet flow from the screen slit as much as possible, serving the purpose of preventing leaks. When the rotor blades pass through the screen slit, the jet flow stops, and when the next blade arrives, the jet flow is discharged. This mechanism ensures that a continuous pulsed jet is emitted, preventing any accompanying flow.

"Clairmix Batch System" ■ The batch system allows for relatively easy control of factors such as rotation speed, processing time, and processing temperature, making it easier to achieve the desired particle size. There are upper and lower stirring options available. ■ For materials with high viscosity, we recommend using Harmotech with auxiliary wings.

"Clairmix Batch Continuous System" The batch continuous system installs a small capacity vessel in the rotor/screen section of the Clairmix, where liquid is pumped into the vessel to create a completely liquid-sealed condition with a retention time for circulation operation. By maintaining a completely liquid-sealed condition without a free interface, there is no air entrapment, allowing all input energy to be used for emulsification/dispersal, enabling more uniform microparticle formation in a shorter time compared to batch processing. By pressurizing the vessel, cavitation control is achieved, preventing cavitation phenomena and allowing for efficient emulsification/dispersal of the processed material.

"Claire Mix Continuous System" The continuous system is an inline system where the material passes through the rotor/screen section of the Claire Mix only once, applying shear. By pumping the material from below and discharging it horizontally, it eliminates gas accumulation. It is suitable for mass production with a large processing volume per hour. Due to minimal temperature variation in the mixing section, it is suitable for emulsifying/dispersing materials that are prone to thermal degradation. When used in a circulation system, particle size control is also possible.
-
"Claremix W Motion" The Claremix W Motion has a greater ability to create fine particles compared to a single system, as both the rotor and the screen rotate at high speeds in opposing directions. The intermittent jet flow ejected diagonally downward from the rotor is converged at the top of the screen due to the rotation of the screen, transforming it into a narrower and faster jet flow. With a significant speed difference and an increased number of pulses in the intermittent jet flow, it is possible to achieve nano-sized particle creation and a sharper particle size distribution.

"Harmotech" Harmotech is an emulsification and dispersion device designed for high viscosity applications, consisting of a Clearmix that provides localized shear force for emulsification/dispersion, and an anchor mixer that performs homogenization, mixing, and temperature control within the system. The correlation between the flow patterns of the Clearmix and the anchor mixer is a crucial factor, and it is designed to eliminate dead zones within the tank. The anchor mixer can be equipped with an optional Teflon scraper to enhance the scraping effect. It is also possible to configure a Clearmix dissolver and an anchor mixer together.

"Clairmix Dissolver" ■ This is a Clairmix equipped with a dissolver-type rotor. ■ It is capable of dissolving water-soluble polymers and other materials in a short time without reducing them to low molecular weight. ■ There are both upper stirring and lower stirring types available. ■ By using lower stirring, it allows for complete CIP/SIP since there is no shaft at the top. The absence of a lifting device makes the equipment compact. Additionally, with the motor located at the bottom, it has a low center of gravity, which improves the accuracy of the load cell's indication. The lid can be freely equipped with nozzles and hand holes.
