In the embankment slopes associated with transportation infrastructure such as highways and railways, serious deterioration caused by earthquakes and rainwater infiltration has led to instances of collapse. Due to difficulties in securing inspection personnel, high costs, and the significant time required for recovery, there is an increasing need for early warning detection by continuously monitoring the behavior of embankment slopes. By constantly monitoring the slopes with inclinometers, rain gauges, and soil moisture sensors, notifications are sent to responsible personnel via email or automated voice calls when abnormal values are detected.
