I would like to introduce a case where a client suddenly revealed their plan to launch a highly confidential project unrelated to their main business. The shocking content was their desire to create their own "machine tools" that drill or cut materials such as metals. Leveraging our extensive experience in developing machine tools, we decided to produce a simple test machine to identify issues. Next, we created a prototype (version 2) that reflected the improvement proposals, and as a result of data collection, we successfully demonstrated improvement effects, achieving a roundness of less than 3 microns, which was set as the standard value.
