- 10-bit vertical resolution The RTB 2 is equipped with a customized 10-bit A/D converter from Rohde & Schwarz, providing four times the resolution of conventional 8-bit A/D converters. This increase in resolution allows for sharper waveforms, revealing details of signals that may be missed by other products. The RTB 2 oscilloscope incorporates a low-noise front end and state-of-the-art A/D converters. In high-resolution (HD) mode, noise can be further reduced by applying filters to consecutive samples. - Low noise: Minimum sensitivity of 1 mV/div across the entire measurement bandwidth The RTB 2 oscilloscope features excellent sensitivity with a minimum of 1 mV/div. Conventional oscilloscopes cannot achieve such input sensitivity without using software-based magnification or bandwidth limiting. When it is necessary to observe large signals, a variable gain amplifier can achieve up to 5 V/div. Using probes with high attenuation ratios of 10:1, 100:1, or more allows for the safe measurement of even larger signals.
