Applications/Examples of results
〇 Aluminum Die Casting It can capture the entire measurement object in a single shot, significantly reducing measurement man-hours compared to other CMMs. In measurement, geometric elements are fitted to the extracted 3D surface for measurement. Compared to contact CMMs, there are overwhelmingly more fit points, allowing measurements to be conducted without being influenced by specific shape changes in parts of the surface. Additionally, internal defect analysis and shape comparison with design values (3D-CAD) are also possible. 〇 Resin Connectors Measurements are not affected by the color of the workpiece. Dimension measurements can be performed even if the workpiece is glossy, transparent, or milky white. In shape comparison measurements, comparisons between CT data are also possible. Positioning based on best fit or geometric elements can be performed, and deviations in shape can be expressed using a color map. It is also expected to be useful for shape comparison evaluations of each molded product in multi-cavity injection molds and for evaluating the aging deterioration of molds.
