Dynamic Contact Angle Meter DAT
An automatic contact angle and absorption characteristic testing machine that analyzes the interactions between a few microliters of droplet liquid and the sample surface, which change over a short period of time.
Measured contact angle (wetting characteristics), droplet volume (absorption characteristics), and droplet base diameter (spreading) through image analysis using a CCD camera in relation to time changes.

* An automatic contact angle and absorption characteristic testing machine that analyzes the interactions between a few microliters of droplet liquid and the sample surface over a short period of time. * The contact angle (wetting characteristics), droplet liquid volume (absorption characteristics), and droplet base diameter (spreading) are measured through image analysis using a CCD camera. * Shutter speed: 0.001 seconds * Measurement interval: 0.02 seconds (50 images/second) * Compliant with ASTM D5725. * Control software is compatible with Windows NT. * The DAT image sequencer can evaluate 1000 images in the first second (optional). * The DAT tilt table allows for the evaluation of advancing and receding contact angles (optional).
