By measuring the ultrasonic wave intensity, evaluate the permeability of water-based liquids to paper and cardboard, as well as their sizing, water retention, wettability, and coating paper surface properties.
Before each measurement, calibration is performed on the receiving side to ensure that the ultrasonic intensity remains constant, allowing for evaluation on an absolute scale.

By measuring the ultrasonic wave intensity, the permeability, sizing, water retention, wet stretch, and surface characteristics of water-based liquids on paper and board can be evaluated. 【Features】 ○ Calibration is performed each time before measurement to ensure that the ultrasonic intensity on the receiving side remains constant, allowing for evaluation on an absolute scale. ○ Automatic control of immersion speed: 3-stage control - standard specification. ○ Ultrasonic frequency: 1 MHz or 2 MHz (model-dependent). ○ Number of measurement points/sample: 1, 2, or 4 points (model-dependent). ○ Temperature control (heater): up to 90°C (optional). ○ Wet stretch measurement: DDPM (optional) can be measured alone or in conjunction with DPM. ○ Permeability evaluation from the paper side: sample preparation tool (optional). ● For other functions and details, please download the catalog.
